Brazilian cities receive international award in the tourism industry
March 1, 2010 by: adminInternationally recognized for its natural beauty, Brazil received two awards this month related to the tourism sector.Owner of one of the postcards Brazilian best known in the world - Niagara Falls - the city of Foz do Iguaçu (Paraná) won the Swiss Tourism Award for City of Water.
Another was awarded city Joinville. The city was recognized for the preservation of historical heritage.
Present at the award ceremony, the president of the Tourism Council of Foz do Iguaçu (Comtur), Paul Angeli, believes that the choice of a city is encouraging the growth of local tourism industry.
